I’m Vitaly, Front-End Web Developer.

I create web sites with hand-coded HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
But not only web sites, web applications too!
Now completely focused on serious UI application development.
Projects i have worked on had millions of hits per day. Efficiency and scaling learned the hard way.

I don’t work as web designer and don’t make Flash. I’m a coder.

JavaScript: general experience 2+ years from RAW DOM coding to jQuery, jQuery UI, ExtJS libraries, use it now

HTML: strong skills, 5+ years experience, use now in JavaScript controls

CSS: strong skills, 5+ years experience, use now for layout, styling, etc

XML: basic experience, used to generate HTML templates using XSLT technology

JSON: basic experience, using “as is” in JavaScript frameworks for AJAX

AJAX: raw coding experience and in libraries

jQuery: 2+ years experience, good framework but can’t cower all needs, 3d party jQuery plugins sometimes luck of quality

ExtJS: 1+ year experience, big strong web-app developing from scratch under ExtJS and few others helpful frameworks/libraries. Both ExtJS3 and ExtJS4 versions.

BackboneJS: use realization of MVVM pattern, routes processing, history support, have hacked source code for mine requirements

PHP: 2 years experience as junior developer. Used Zend framework. But not wrote any advanced PHP for 2 years. (Current projects back-end are on .NET).

understanding of JavaScript techniques: working with DOM, Events managing, basic OOP (like making Class, do Inheritance, etc), AJAX, JSONP for cross-site scripting, Frames (sometimes still useful for implementing history navigation), lazy data loading, data binding, form processing, code structure, etc.

Proficiency in source code management practices: Have worked with SVN, TFS (from Microsoft) source control systems. Can do basic daily tasks like merging, branching, etc.

Another skills: have experience with web page optimization of loading time, rendering time, user interface response time.

OS: MacOS / Windows / Linux / FreeBSD, anyway mine IDE compile on any of them :)
