That was such a nice day for some travel trip. Got up in 6AM. On 7AM i’m in the bus going north! After 150km i got to Cyprus north coast.
Even in the end of December it’s still hot under the sun after noon. Downtown so small. As for me there just 2 streets with shops and cafes. The city just beatween mountains and sea. Like Pafos from south coast, but here mountains are higher. And the city looks smaller. But Kyrenia castle, that was build in 7th century, are awesome and soo big! Its realy cool to visit, and 12TL for ticket cover that views from castle roof. The bay water so colorful.
Old harbour are stunning. Food delicious. Such a spicy kebab, have never tried like that anywhere before.
Enjoyed good company of students from Kazahstan. Girls you awesome :)
Travelling alone have more disadvantages than that pluses that you get with freedom of self-travel. Without company all places looks not that great. When you alone, so far away from real home, all that beauty not that great. Just simple coz you have no one to share the moment with. And photos/videos from camera will not fixed it, for sure. But it doesnt means that you should avoid traveling. You can find a company in the middle of your route :) Thats simple, really. Just use hostels, not a hotels. Or be wellcome for tourists that asks for help or looking lost.
Heh, on the way back home sow a english-native speakers, who spent night in the green zone. In no man land, beatween country borders. Like in the movies, fire in big metal canister, camping equipment, etc… Do they lost ID’s? :) Actually unusual and scary scene. I have no clue whats going there.
