Larnaca are smaller than Limassol, but for me, it has more developed city center. It really feels like downtown. In Limassol there no such place. Just few big streets that packed with shops and businesses. Front sea promenad in Larnaka more convinient for pedestrians.
What to do in December in Larnaca? Swim in the sea for brave guys are option one :) For others – hang out in cafes and explore shopping streets. Also now prices may drop, seasons sales here and there.
Old town have not impressed me. Maybe i took wrong route.
Is winter are not a right time for traveling Cyprus? Who knows. It have some advantages too. Hotels can be booked without advance and on lower rate, cafes have free seats (except Starbucks), not that hot to walk long time. Buy its not a real off-season. People still come and hang out here. All year round.
